Meet the
Founder:
Mike Marcisz
A former ASU Sun Devil football player, Mike Marcisz, channels the teamwork, discipline, and perseverance of the gridiron into every commercial construction project. Over the past 15+ years, he's managed developments ranging from office buildings and retail centers to healthcare facilities, cutting-edge laboratories, K-12 schools, higher-education projects, industrial renovations, and tenant-improvement fit-outs, always with a focus on rigorous scheduling, budget stewardship, and uncompromising quality. Holding both a Bachelor's and Master's in construction from Arizona State University, Mike combines deep technical expertise with a competitive drive to tackle complex challenges. As the leader of Marcisz Construction, he forges close client partnerships and inspires collaborative project teams to deliver seamless, on-time results. By guest lecturing at ASU, he stays plugged into emerging best practices-bringing the latest innovations back to every build.

Governor Hobbs Announces Thousands of Apprentices Added and $3 Million to Continue Revitalizing Arizona's Construction Workforce

Phoenix, AZ – Today, Governor Katie Hobbs and the Arizona Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) announced that the BuildItAZ Apprenticeship Initiative, a signature effort that aims to create a robust construction talent pipeline and pathways to family-sustaining jobs, has helped connect nearly 3,000 Arizonans to apprenticeships. Governor Hobbs also announced the recipients of the second round of BuildItAZ grants, which include seven construction and trades registered apprenticeship programs across the state.
